What I've been up to

alongside panting in the shade

A lot of the time, I have been panting in the shade, along with the rest of the northern hemisphere. Here at home, curtains drawn tight shut most of the day, inhabiting a world of half-darkness and endless glasses of water and moaning. And the same away in Portugal for ten sunny days, where it was just as full of 30+ degrees and football as England (but with a pool and cocktails which was nice).

Much of my time has been spent watching football. Getting addicted to the England matches, then just any old match will do now, given that not much no moving around/going to the gym/walking the dog has been going on.

I’m not allowed to say it out loud but I always pray for penalties; they are the most exciting bit. Watching the games in loud rowdy pub gardens has been one of the joys of this summer.

But the activity I’ve been up to with the majority of my time is getting obsessed with upping my artist game. I’ve created a brand new website, a social media strategy, written email flows, made branding videos and am working on a whole series of beautiful new things for you all.

They look a little like this.

and this

and this

And I’m so excited by this work that I’ve been at it 12 hours a day for the past 13 days. 28 minutes of sleep last night, according to my Oura ring.

This is me in the Mani part of my Manifesting Generator energy. Head down, hair scraped back, eating at my desk, creating creating creating, woe betide anything that might try to cross my path (except football) in this mode. Hands with skin rubbed raw from hot sticky hands on furiously hot laptop.

It’s exhausting but the most immense fun and because I understand my Human Design, I know I’ll go back into nice warm enveloping hug Generator mode soon. With beautiful creation dripping from my fingertips that I cannot wait to share with you all.

Anyway, stop interrupting me, let me get back to it. Come on England, you can do it.

Until next time,

Nic x
