Emotional Authority in a Sacral Being

There is wisdom inherent in all things and our knowing of it comes through our bodies. Not through our heads, as we’ve traditionally been taught to believe, but from deep within our bodies.

This knowing helps us navigate our lives. It lets us know which invitations to respond to, which projects to create, how to help our children and in any area it appears a choice needs to be made. The inner wisdom already knows. Our Authority is the way we access that already known wisdom.

First let’s take a look at the Sacral. You have a wonderful gift in this defined sacral of yours.

Listen to her. She can guide you and is the source of your intuition and knowing.

She responds through sounds - Uh-huh and Un-unh - and gives an answer to any yes/no question in the now.

‘In the now’ being key. If you are a sacral being, you are a Generator or Manifesting Generator and this is where your strategy of ‘wait to respond’ comes into play. You see, we have no idea what will be drawn into our worlds and no idea how the sacral will respond. It’s a minute by minute thing. Read more about the Generator strategy here and the Manifesting Generator strategy here.

She will help you take the right next step and is the way the intelligence behind the universe lets itself be known to you.

Need to make a decision? Ask a friend/coach to ask you yes/no questions but make sure to answer with the .Uh-huh and Un-unh sounds, rather than 'yes' and 'no'.

(The exception to this is if you have the gates 34 and 20 connected with a channel in your chart. That channel is so fast that 'yep' 'nope' and the first thing that comes out of your mouth will likely replace the Uh-huh and Un-unh)

For example:

Would you like to go out today?

Will you take on this new project?

Is now the right time?

Do you have the energy required?

Are you frightened?

Do you know what to do about that

Could this wait?

is it time to quit?

The answer is in the now. A no today might be a yes tomorrow.

The answer will often suprise your head, which will then try to argue with the answer that is expressed. That's normal - the mind will give you a conditioned response. Not a truthful one.

The mind will tell you that you need to make plans, that ‘show up and respond to what shows up’ is not enough. It will tell you fear-filled stories of what might happen if you let go of the idea of control. Because that’s what it is; simply an unquestioned thought, this illusion of control.

HOWEVER: You also have a defined Emotional Solar Plexus which brings you a different relationship with your Uh-huh and Un-unh response and it gives you Emotional rather than Sacral Authority. You will need to wait a little longer to become clear on your decisions.

The defined Emotional Solar Plexus brings an emotional wave that is constantly undulating through your body. This might go from joy to doubt, from melancholy to joy, from hope to hopelessness. And then back to the beginning.

The nature of the emotions felt, and the length of time it takes you to complete one cycle will be unique to you. The cycle could last a day, a week, a month or even a year.

I would invite you to start to notice and know your own. Your journal will be helpful here – perhaps set a timer on your phone each morning and afternoon and make a note of what’s being felt until you get a sense of the nature and length of your cycle.

Emotional Authority doesn’t mean we navigate by our feelings, rather when you are presented with an opportunity and your initial sacral response is 'Uh-huh' (yes) and – you’ll want to check in and see if that answer remains the same throughout the whole of one emotional cycle. Likewise if the answer is ‘Un-unh’ (no), does it remain the same throughout one emotional cycle.

If you find your answer changes over the course of this period, then the answer is ‘no’. At least not now. When you move ahead despite a fluctuating answer, your relationship with this particular matter will repeat that fluctuating commitment for the whole time you are in relationship with it. And of course, this may be part of your soul curriculum – you experiencing this over and over until a deeper truth is seen.

Having Emotional Authority means you are not designed to be spontaneous with your decision-making – rather you need time to go through an emotional wave before you know your right next step.

Patience, my friend.

You will find your inner knowing, which the head will then try to argue with. That's normal - the mind will give you a conditioned response. Not a truthful one.

The mind will tell you that you need to decide NOW, that ‘waiting out your emotional wave’ is ridiculous and woo woo, that you can’t trust yourself. That there are million logical reasons for doing (or not doing) this thing or that, persuade you that a pros and cons list would be a much better way to make decisions.

What happens wait to ride out the emotional wave and trust that sacral response, no matter what the head says? Can you trust this wisdom of your body?

Find out for yourself. This is the experiment.
